The hot sunny days and clear blue skies of summer often provide little contrast for photographers. The fall however is the best time because it is then when nature explodes in vivid colours and misty skies await to be captured. The red maples in the image were captured on a Shuswap back country road in the from a vehicle window with a Canon PowerShot G16 point-to-shoot camera. F-stop: f/2.5, Exposure time: 1/160 sec. and ISO speed: 125.
